Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Last Straw

This book is exactly what I have been looking for! I bought all of the books in the set for my little brother, for Christmas, and I couldn't be happier with my find. All of the books were in brand new condition and the prices were unbeatable. I decided I had to get my brother the whole set for Christmas, since they are the only books that he's ever taken an interest in. In fact, not only was he interested in them, he was absolutely enthralled! From start to finish, I think he only put book #1 down to sleep. So, I thought he just has to have the rest of them one, so that he'll keep going. I'm so glad that I found these books.
Black Swan

This book is so well-written and intelligent. I have to read it slowly and carefully to fully understand the importance of what is being said by the author as it is counter all of the 'patterned behavior' type of thinking we are taught. I like how he weaves personal stories in with dense financial topics to make a really memorable lesson. I am planning to read the rest of his books as well.Great author.
Big Green Egg Cookbook

I am disappointed with this cookbook because it is not for me. I was looking for a backyard grilling cookbook using my Big Green Egg. This isn't it. This cookbook is full of gourmet looking dishes with fancy ingredients. I did manage to find a few recipes that I plan to try. There are pictures of few recipes, most have no pictures. I was hoping that there pictures of most if not all recipes. I need to see the end result as a motivator... I am glad I got the ebook for a fraction of the hardcover price.

Indoor Grilling

This book is all about indoor grilling. The recipes have pictures which is a plus. But I find it to be an ordinary cookbook with lots of fried food and fancy presentation. Basically, get a cast iron pan with grill ridges and grill away! I find myself going back to my outdoor grilling cookbooks. It was a cute read and I did enjoy the pictures.
Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Book 1

I am 8 years old and I have been reading this series over and over for 4 years! However they are not a challenge or a deep read they are just clever and happy. I chose to write a review on this one because it is my favorite but that applies to all the books. I was lucky enough to have the author visit my school 2 years ago and he said some people don't like his books because they are not deep enough. As much as reading a deep and challenging story is important what is wrong with something light and funny once and a while. I think that reading is reading and these books will put a smile on your face and there is nothing wrong with that, not only that, they very clever and they have a true story line aside to being silly! I highly recommend for kids 7-12 (or any age above 12 if you eat to read a good laugh out loud story) :) :) :)
